For you to try SPEED SKATING, other than skates you can rent from the club, specialised safety equipment is not necessary.
As long as you have a piece of each protective equipment (head, neck, eye, hand, knee, shin, ankle) meeting the specifications below, you can SPEED SKATE!
For example, you could reuse a hocket helmet and soccer skin pads. Just make sure they still fit and meet the requirements.
Lenses on Safety Glasses MUST BE CLEAR.
