Do you need to SignUp?

  • Every member of the Concordes, such as Skater, Coach, Associate, InterClub, etc. must signup as a member.  Only members who have signed up will be able to register for the season or an event.  Only registered members of the Concordes can practice.
  • Visiting skaters from other clubs (e.g. during meets), can register without having to signup as a member.
  • Every Minor skater under the age of 18 must be associated to an adult OSSA member.  If you are the parent of a minor skater, you MUST also signup and register for  the season separately as an Associate Member.  Due to COVID we require both parent as well a any other guardian that brings a minor skater to the arena to register as an Associate Member.

Sign Up Tips and Tricks

  • Each individual member (each Skater, each Associate) must create their own account and login separately.  For example, Jane has 2 minor children that are registering for speed skating.  Therefore, 3 accounts will be created, a ‘skater’ account for each child, and an ‘Associate’ account for one parent of one or more minor skater(s) (one Associate member per family of minor skaters).
  • Each account must have a unique email address.  For example, if Jane uses This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for her account, she cannot use the same email address for her children.  Consider creating an email account for each Concordes (most email providers support multiple accounts free of charge) and auto-forwarding all messages to the same account.  Other options include registering with a sub-address or an alias (disposable email) if it’s supported by your email provider.  More information is posted here: https://www.joomlapolis.com/news/18328-sharing-email-addresses-between-joomla-accounts and https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN16026.html
